Ariel Guzmán

Born in Mexico City in 1954. He studied Plastic Arts at the National School of Painting "La Esmeralda" in 1975, Graphic Design with a specialty in experimental photography and animation film at the University of Hessen, Germany, in 1983 and Architectural, Environmental and Furniture Design at the University of Gothenburg , Sweden, in 1985. She won first place in the Engraving contest at the “San Marcos” Fair in Aguascalientes, Mexico, 1975. In 1989, she obtained 2 honorable mentions in poster design in Germany. She has had 45 individual and 75 group exhibitions in Mexico, Germany, Spain, the United States, Sweden and Cuba. She has also taught painting, design, and photography classes at various institutions, universities, and art schools.
