Diego Rodarte Planter (Mexico, 1984) Focuses his visual practice on different technical supports, highlighting the exploration of painting. He began his studies with the Mtro. Enrique Monraz in the city of Guadalajara. He has 18 years of experience where he has exhibited in various cities in the country and abroad in galleries, museums and cultural centers where the Juan Soriano Sculpture Garden in Warsaw, Poland (2021), Center Culturel du Mexique in Paris, France (2008), stand out. USC Fisher Museum, The Huntington Library, San Marino, California (2017) Art Division Gallery in Los Angeles (2018), Center for Latin American Studies, UC Berkeley, San Francisco (2017), MACAY in Mérida, Yucatán (2009), Museo Former Del Carmen Convent in Guadalajara (2009), LAMM House in Mexico City (2015), San Agustín Center for the Arts in Oaxaca (2016), Querétaro Museum of Art (2021), Mark Hachem Gallery and in the MR80 gallery in Paris, and at the Scope international art fair in Miami (2019) as well as at the Zona MACO art week with the Alfredo Ginocchio gallery (2021). He has artistic residences in Los Angeles (2018), Paris (2008), Oaxaca (2017), Torreón (2016) and Warsaw (2019). He was the winner of the First Club Art Exhibition carried out by the Reforma Group in 2007. He has been a qualifying jury at the XXIV Award of the Salón de la Plástica Ahomense 'Edgardo Coghlan' in Los Mochis, Sinaloa in 2012 and in the 2018 Jury for Residencies in Colombian plastic arts for the Laboratorio de Artes de La Curtiduría in Oaxaca. He is currently selected for the XIX Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial. Lives and works in Mexico City.
