Foreman

Marcos González "Foreman" was born in CDMX and studied a degree in Visual Arts at UNAM. He specialized in the discipline of painting. He attended the contemporary painting production workshop with the teacher Francisco Castro Leñero and recently was part of the Diploma in Production and Contemporary Languages ​​at the San Agustín Center for the Arts, Etla, Oaxaca. It has various individual exhibitions, the most recent "Mucho arte poco diversion"; as well as various group exhibitions in Mexico and abroad.

Manager and founder of independent projects, he currently coordinates the Talleres Fresno 301 project, a multidisciplinary artistic production space in CDMX. His work addresses the genre of landscape in painting, as a social, cultural and political memory device. Based on the technical and formal eclecticism of his compositions, he explores the discursive relationships of painting within the contemporary visual language. Offering a personal view of his environment and his plastic, conceptual and visual questions.
