Beyond the domains and conventions of the plastic arts, with regard to color, shape, structure, balance, clarity, equilibrium and geometry, it is that Otto as an artist on the limits of modern art and contemporary sculpture. It is from an enhanced and well-defined subjectivity that Otto introduces a curious and playful perspective, practically self-taught with respect to the nomenclature of forms. There is a poetic of color that is exhibited with subtle eroticism, conducive to the empirical and aesthetic delivery of his works in medium and large format; monochrome in sculpture that alludes to an emotional minimalism, supported by references to Bauhaus design, Russian Suprematism and Constructivism, as well as Pythagorean Geometry, Joseph Albers' Theory of Color and the cubism of Braque, Picasso and Juan Gris.
