Oaxaca, México , 1970

He was born in Tehuantepec in the state of Oaxaca. Since 1986 he has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions throughout Mexico and in countries such as Japan, Argentina, USA, France, Italy, Spain, Cuba, among others.

In addition, he has held more than 40 individual exhibitions around the world. His work has been presented in places such as: the Matignon 32 gallery, in Paris, France, the Cervantes Institute, in Milan, Italy, the Louis Aronow Gallery in San Francisco, California, the Museum of the Americas in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Borges Cultural Center, Buenos Aires, Argentina, the University of Plastic Arts of Nagoya, Japan and La Fayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania, in the latter, he was artist in residence.

He was selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2009 to present a traveling exhibition in the Mexican consulates of North, Central and South America.
