Luis Palacios Kaim, Mexico City, 1946, is a visual artist who studied Philosophy and Sociology. In his words, "the art of non-action" has always seduced him. At first this statement might not be fully understood, but it is enough to know a little about the work of Luis Palacios to understand the dimensions that it implies. Silence, time, property and the way we relate to spaces occupy a special place in his reflections, especially in his most recent works. He has exhibited in Mexico, U.S.A., France, Belgium, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong-Kong and Macao. Close to minimalism, he always seeks the economy of means, the exaltation of materials and the incorporation of the surrounding void to his work. It tries to reconcile the primeval myths with contemporary philosophical and scientific thought; the debugging of archetypal symbols with the most recent avant-garde movements.
