Miguel Castro Leñero was born in Mexico City in 1956. He studied at the INBA's La Esmeralda National School of Painting and Sculpture. Later he entered the Engraving Workshop of the Center for Plastic Research and Experimentation of the INBA. Throughout his artistic career he has held various individual exhibitions and has received several awards and recognitions. He has exhibited in New York, Austria and Brazil.
