In the center of the collapse there is no room for doubt. Just the action and instinct can become survival tools against the rain of fragments of a reality that collapses before our eyes. The moment of impact is close to the light of five suns. Then, silence and its overwhelming force. The crater: the image of the abyss. But this has happened before. Once again we dance around the bon fire left by the meteorite; reading the stars, willing to germinate again using chaos as the original source of life, as fuel to keep the flame burning. The works that inhabit the Crater are the light contribution of each one of the nine artists, who have descended into its depths, and in one act of alchemy have articulated a being that looks back into the abyss. It is they, with their autonomous voices, who have today transformed the crater into a crucible, cauldron, container and light source; meeting point and a portal to a host of possible universes. The exhibition proposes reflections on the strata that make up time; the processes of continuous transformation of matter and inhabited territory; and finally chaos, its poetics and fictions.
